FloAnn's Cottages |

| FloAnn's Cottages, located in the scenic Big Thompson Canyon east
of Estes Park, are the essence of quiet life in the outdoors. The
property has 300 feet bordering on the Big Thompson River. The glacier
fed river has trout with a catch and release program. The cottages
are on twenty-four acres nest to the Roosevelt National Forest. You
can only imagine how tranquil it is.. My three, well-maintained, extra-large, fully-equipped cottages are open year-round and available for fishing, hiking excursions, hunting base camps or any other of the numerous outdoor activities this area has to offer. The main attraction, Rocky Mountain National Park is a short, 10-mile drive. There is no downhill skiing in the immediate area; Eldora Ski Resort is just one hour away. Many cross-country and snowshoeing trails are found near Allenspark and in the RMNP areas. Sledding and tubing are popular at Hidden Valley Snow Play area inside Rocky. It is not unusual for elk and deer to visit the property. Although they do not visit everyday, the local population of squirrels, chipmunks and birds will entertain you. I recommend that you keep your cameras handy whether you are a beginner or experienced photographer. During the Fall of the year, the colors are absolutely stunning!
